Hello, I’m a comedian. Honest. Over the years I done tiny bits for Ava Vidal’s “Minority Report”, Dave Cohen’s “Britain’s Got People”, Simon Jay’s “Is he a bit Simon Jay?”, Watson’s Wind Up and Radio 4’s “The News Quiz” among other things. I’m a stand up after fashion and was once described as “having no discernable jokes whatsoever” by a promoter called “Martin.” These days I’m a long-form improviser trained at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade in New York and can be found in various teams doing decisive sweep edits from the back line. All those years training Ninjutsu in Japanese mountains did not go to waste.

I ran away to the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre in New York City and came back an improviser. I work with C3? and perform in various teams both in London and abroad.

  • C3467X – A Harold Team
  • Genre Claude Van Damme – An Improvised Movie Database
  • Anne & Frank – Dysfunctional Relationship Based Improv
  • Meat Man Ticket System – Premise Keepers

I produce and feature on Scene & Heard, an improv comedy podcast.

Why not take a look at some of my scripts? I can be reached at shem@thefridaylink.com and will happily write jokes and sketches on demand.
